Three Bowling Green Football Players Charged with Misdemeanor Assault
Three Bowling Green football players, Brennan Ridley, Caleb Goodloe, and Leone Kemp, were arrested on Sunday morning and charged with misdemeanor assault. The incident occurred at 2 a.m. at the bar Ziggy's, where the players allegedly assaulted a bouncer and another victim. Video footage obtained by BG Falcon Media shows the players pushing and striking the victims, with Kemp placing one of the victims in a chokehold.
Ridley, who has been a key player for Bowling Green this season, has only managed three receptions for 23 yards in nine games. However, his impact has been more significant as a punt returner, with 72 yards on 14 attempts. Goodloe, on the other hand, has not yet been released from custody, while Kemp has one carry to his name, which came against Cincinnati during the nonconference portion of the schedule. Bowling Green added Kemp to the roster this offseason through the NCAA transfer portal.
